Finding support for those impacted by cancer outside of Maine’s populated centers is difficult. The inspiration to help patients navigate the emotional terrain of a cancer diagnosis in Western Maine was spearheaded by three local survivors who founded the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine (CRCofWM) in 2014. The CRCofWM is an independent 501(c)3, offering patients, families and caregivers the ease and convenience of support and resources within their community.

 We embrace anyone affected by cancer in a community that offers hope and caring through support, education and concepts in healthy living. We offer one to one support, free wellness programs classes, support groups, travel and food assistance, and comfort items to anyone impacted by cancer....​because no one should face cancer alone.
