Since 1976, Capability Health & Human Services (Capability) has operated as a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating programs and services for Nevadans with developmental delays and disabilities and their families. Capability Health is dedicated to providing transformational and life-enhancing services to all individuals facing a physical, mental, intellectual, or social limitation. Our mission is to enhance the capabilities and enrich the lives of the clients we serve by providing developmental and rehabilitative services. We serve children and their families by providing specialized therapies (speech, occupational, physical, and feeding). We serve our adult clients by providing day habilitation and career placement services. Capability currently serves over 900 children and adults in Southern and Northern Nevada.
