Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife is a volunteer run organzation whose purpose is to preserveand enhance the habitats of protected wildlife species and to educate the community about Cape Coral's wildlife resources.

We provide signage and perches for burrowing owls (threatened species)and PVC markers and signage for gopher tortoises (threatened species).  We maintain the Butterfly Garden at Rotary Park in Cape Coral as well as a smalller one at Sirenia Vista Park.  We respond to residents requests for information and perches as well as reporting Code Violations to the authorities and the Florida fish and Wildlife (FWC).  We are passionate about educating people on threatened species.  

With funds re raise through various events we acquire land ato be set asside for nature.  To date we have acquired 6 acres consiting of 57 lots.
