Capital Innovations Academy is a WASC accredited, non-sectarian private school for 6th-12th graders. We offer small classes, a unique arts & sciences major program, and a curriculum that is sculpted to the needs, interests, and abilities of each student.
Because of our small size and personalized study plans, we are able to accomodate students whose academic, social and emotional needs are not met in larger school environments.
Our philosophy is that students are most successful and work toward becoming their finest selves when information is delivered to them in a way that they can understand and enjoy the learning process. We value each student as an individual with unique abilities, desires, and learning styles. It is our mission to provide personalized meaningful and challenging instruction that applies to each student and serves his/her lifelong goals. Arts are an essential piece in our learning philosophy and we find that our students experience greater success in all subjects when they are allowed to ingest material and/or prove understanding of subjects via artistic expression.
A complete CI education includes emotional development, communication skills courses, discussions about social consciousness, as well as training in the fine & performing arts and technology. We place great value on maintaining a safe family-feel environment where students learn to be active participants in the betterment of the community.
