My name is Leslie Belghoul and I am reaching out on behalf of the PTA at Capri Elementary School in Campbell, California. Capri Elementary School, grades Transitional Kindergarten through 5th, has been serving Campbell and the surrounding area since 1964. The PTA is once again preparing to hold our annual Fall Festival for the students at Capri. This will be one of our main fundraising events of the school year. It is also great fun for all who attend and also promotes a strong sense of community. We will have food, carnival games, bouncy houses, extreme air jumpers, and of course our Silent Auction. We typically have about 350 attendees to play, eat, and bid on auction items.
We know that you have many choices when it comes to charitable donations. On behalf of the Capri PTA we are asking you to consider making a donation for our Fall Festival Silent Auction. You may not realize that money from the state barely covers the basics and with recent cuts to the school budget, PTA support is more important than ever. Capri PTA is a non-profit organization and we fund field trips, assemblies, teacher and curriculum supplies, science and STEAM projects, extra hours for the school librarian, as well as other areas of need throughout the school year. The students of Capri Elementary School are the direct benefactors, but we know that our entire community benefits from a strong school as well.
