To organize and operate the Carbon County Fair which promotes agriculture, instills strong values in our youth through the enhancement of 4-H programs. It offer good, old-fashioned family fun, while allowing youth-oriented and other service organizations to raise funds and give back to the community. The Carbon County Fair educates the public about Agriculture since this is Pennsylvania's number one industry. The purpose of our fair is to promote Agriculture, to educate the public on the agricultural industry, and to foster a greater public understanding of the importance of each of these to our coummunity. Our fair instructs the Public on agricultural matters by conducting an annual public fair and exhibitions which include livestock, poultry and farm products. Carbon County Fair's focal point is education and showcase of agriculture.
Citizens come together to socialize, learn and enjoy good local food and entertainment. It's events like our fair that many rurual families plain their schedule around each year. Not only does it bring out locals, but the Carbon County Fair also brings back families who haved moved away. Over 45,000 fairgoers each year can attest to the quality of what we have to offer. The Carbon County Fair is important to the economy, our society, and our the heritatge of Carbon County, PA.
