About the Nonprofit

With our namesake in mind, the Carole Robertson Center for Learning works every day to advance racial equity in all that we do. We serve more than 2,500 predominantly Black and Brown children and families across 27 communities in the city of Chicago, most of which have been historically divested. With sites in Albany Park, North Lawndale, and Little Village, our youth programs provide year-round programming for students to deliver the first-rate education denied to Carole Robertson and countless others. Our mission has been to educate, enrich, and empower children and families for over four decades.
