The Caroline Street PTA is a volunteer organization supporting Caroline Elementary School. Caroline Elementary School is an elementary school in Saratoga Springs, New York that provides a safe, nurturing and academically challenging environment, fostering the self-esteem and zest for learning that will enable students to grow to their full potential as healthy, creative, responsible citizens. Our school includes 19 sections of approximately 410, Kindergarten through Grade 5 students. Our class average for Grades K & 1 is 19 students or less and for Grades 2-5 our class average for the past few years is approximately 25 students per teacher.
Our students also enjoy the expertise of a number of certified specialists. These may include, but are not limited to some of the following Caroline Street School staff members: Art, Music and PE instructors, Library Media Specialist, Special Education and Academic Intervention Service teachers, a School Nurse, a School Psychologist, and Speech/Language Therapist. In addition, we are very fortunate to provide a Gifted and Talented class as well as an excellent Band and Orchestra program. Finally, over 20 Support Staff provide our school and students with excellent instructional and facility support. Caroline Street School not only enjoys a hardworking and dedicated staff, but an equally supportive and tireless Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Our PTO sponsors many academic, arts & science enrichment and fun activities for all of our students.
