CASA for Kids is a 501{c}{3} non-profit organization committed to serving abused, neglected and abandoned children in Payne & Logan Counties who come before the Juvenile Court for protection by providing a trained community volunteer who will act as a consistent role model, advocate, and potential life connection.
This past year 120 CASA volunteers provided a voice for 228 children. The volunteers logged over 7,100 hours, visiting the kids at least once a month, attending court hearings and staffing cases, writing court reports, completing mandatory training, and meeting with case supervisors, DHS workers, counselors, and teachers. On top of that, they drove over 70,000 miles throughout Oklahoma to visit these kids! We ask a lot of our volunteers and they do it without hesitation.
