This is our 21st year advocating in court, for children from johnson County. We have trained hundreds of community volunteers to fiercely advocate for our children in foster care, to ensure their voices are heard and their needs are met. The commitment requires continuous recruitment of volunteers, ongoing and extensive training, as well as continuous coaching in order to provide the best support possible for our most vulnerable.

Receiving financial support allows us to continue our mission of speaking up for abused and neglected children in our community. This support has allowed our children to recieve needed resources such as bedding, toys, and emotional support tools to asset with successful transition when children return home. We have also been able to provide them the opportunity to attend summer camps, extracurricular sports, and school activities, as well as provide laptops for educational needs.

Without the ongoing support of our community stakeholders our children in foster care are left without caring and trained volunteers and the resources needed to ensure their best interests are met and their voices are heard during their difficult journey through foster care.
