Casa Pacifica works to address the vital and growing needs of our region's most vulnerable children and youth – abused, neglected, and abandoned children placed into foster care; at-risk youth and their families working together to prevent their removal from home; youth struggling with drug/alcohol dependence; and transitional and emancipated foster youth who upon emancipation, statistics show, are at the greatest risk for high-risk behaviors such as drug abuse, crime, prostitution, early/unwanted pregnancy, school dropout, unemployment, etc. Casa Pacifica not only focuses on providing programs and services to help children and families as they face challenging times, but also focuses on strengthening care-givers' ability to meet the needs of children/youth in their care-whether it be a biological family member, foster parent, or extended family member through a robust training program in our Training Institute.
