Castaic Elementary School PTA is a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and we serve approximately 400 students. PTA stands for Parent Teacher Association, which is a non-profit volunteer organization committed to the well-being of all children. Our PTA helps parents, students, school staff, and the community work together to share ideas about programs and activities that benefit children. Our PTA provides information and resources that strengthen the connections between children, parents, schools, and the community. We have fundraisers such as APEX Fun Run to help our school have fun events such as Trunk or Treat, Gingerbread Night, Teacher Appreciation Week, Field Trips, Teacher Budgets, Music, Assemblies and more! Our PTA provides support for field trips, cultural arts assemblies, classroom supplies, educational materials, art and music supplies and instruction. Due to budget cuts in California, we are sorely lacking in these areas.
We appreciate how hard the community around us works to help serve our school and love that our PTA can put together events and experiences to benefit our students, staff and community.
