Catalyst San Gabriel Valley has multiple projects that focus on different areas. The HOPE Project (HOPE stands for Homeless and Parent Engagement) serves to support those who are considered homeless or living in unstable, inadequate housing. Our team works to mobilize the local faith community and resources to families and individuals in need of assistance. We collaborate together with our local community partners to develop holistic methods and provide these families and individuals with the resources and support they need to get stabilized and be successful on their own.

HOPE Project also holds Parent Workshops in conjunction with local school districts on different topics that affect families. These workshops are conducted in English with translation in Spanish, Mandarin, & Cantonese.

Catalyst SGV also does Adopt-A-School by helping to support schools & students through backpack & supplies drives; as well as helping to design, install, maintain, and teach from gardens spaces in school campuses & communities.

Another emphasis is student enrichment through Project RISE, which is a teen relationship program that teaches positive youth development, life skills, dating violence, and pregnancy prevention to developing teenagers in the SGV community.

To see all communities thrive by helping to bring community stakeholders together to activate lasting change, one project at a time.
