This is the formal Mission Statement of the National office: "Catholic Daughters of the Americas strives to embrace the principal of faith working through love in the promotion of justice, equality, and the advancement of human rights and human dignity for all."
Our Local Court (branch) raises money and votes to give it to schools & churches, the needy in our communities , and to charities like Smile Train, special needs people, veterans, animal shelters, Hurricane Sandy victims, etc..
