We help children stay focused on their education by giving them free, unlimited access to clothing and toiletries, right within their school. Catie’s Closet has been on the front line of supporting children for the past eleven years. While our in-school, free access model has always been an immediate solution to visible signs of poverty, we are increasingly aware of the positive long-term impact our service brings to students. Satisfying the immediate clothing and toiletry needs of students not only supports their physical, emotional, social, and academic growth, but also promotes a world of tolerance and understanding. With unlimited, immediate access to basic needs, kids can reach beyond the circumstances they are facing, and feel seen for who they are and who they want to be.
