We are an 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization designed to assist seniors, veterans, disabled residents, and disadvantaged families with low cost responsible pet ownership services such as spay/neuter, vaccinations, pet nutrtions, canine obedience workshops to help improve the lives of pets in our community. In addition to our dedicatation to creating a pet specific space in the form of an off leash community dog park.
We are currently hosting TNR mash style clinics to help manage feral cat colonies and assist their guardians. The service includes: low cost spay/neuter, vaccinations, parasite treatment, micro-chipping,and feline leukemia/HIV testing. We have found that 90% of the colony keepers are seniors or disabled veterans that find comfort from the presence of the cats, however, due to lack of funding and/or assistance. They are unable to spay and neuter the animals which leads to an explosion cats suffering from illness from parasites. With theses clinics we have been able to assist more than 200 cats in our community. Making the colony healthier and more manageable. We talk to the Guardians about proper nutrition, and assist them with parasite medication to prevent re-infestation and the spread of disease in the colony.
