Central Arkansas Rescue Efforts for Animals, Inc. (CARE) has been striving to rescue cats and dogs throughout Arkansas since 1998. CARE has grown from an initial group of four volunteers into an organization with three employees and numerous volunteers who devote thousands of hours to its rescue/adoption and spay/neuter efforts and to recruit the necessary financial support. CARE is a 501(c)(3) Arkansas nonprofit corporation and a charitable organization fully funded by donations. We strive to to rescue animals in high-kill shelters and re-home into loving new families. We are also able to provide spay/neuter financial assistance throughout Arkansas.
