Every year, Central Elementary School hosts a social event to raise money for school programs and technology enhancements for our students. (my kids are students and I am on the committee)
Public schools like ours rely heavily on fundraising efforts, with our PTO being the driving force to provide our children with numerous enrichment events and activities that normally the school could not afford.
The PTO has been responsible for purchasing/ providing students with educational assemblies and sponsoring enrichment events for the children, such as International Day, History Day, Young Author’s Day, and Science Day.
