Central Islip-Hauppauge Volunteer Ambulance Corps is a non-profit 501(c)3, whose mission is to help our community and keep it safe. Who is the Central Islip-Hauppauge Volunteer Ambulance Corps? It's your neighbor, who leaves their family to standby at the ambulance garage for a multiple hours long shift. It's the person walking in the aisle next to you in the grocery store, and the business owner who is ready to respond at a moment's notice. It's your friend or family member who volunteers outside their regular duty to standby at high school football games or teach Community CPR. Our members are regular people, with families, jobs and responsibilities like any other; only they are not like others. They are ready to respond and give back to the community without even a second thought about it.
