Central Ohio Pit Savers is a nonprofit animal welfare organization. Our mission is to increase the "live release rate" of the Franklin County Dog Shelter. Simply put, we work with the shelter to get more dogs out alive.
We network and advocate for the shelter dogs, work with owners to keep dogs from entering the shelter by providing financial assistance with veterinary care, pet deposits, food, etc. We also help with redemption fees if the owner's can not afford the cost to get their dog out of the shelter and we require them to spay/neuter and microchip the pet before leaving the shelter.
