The Central Youth Football and Cheer League is an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community of Central District 301. We are the feeder program for the Central High School Rockets. Our goal is to teach the fundamental terminology, skills, and life-lessons that align with Rocket football and cheer philosophies, and to prepare our athletes for success on and off the field!
CYFL emphasizes athletic development by engaging participants in structured physical activity and healthy competition. While under the supervision of trained, volunteer coaches, athletes will learn proper technique while utilizing appropriate safety equipment. CYFL strives to educate youth in moral, mental, and physical values as well as sportsmanship-like conduct. CYFL believes that each child that wishes to participate in our football or cheer program should be able to do so regardless of skill, gender, or financial circumstances. Our organization will not deny any child the opportunity to participate in our programs due to a financial hardship. Our motto is One Team, One Family, and we truly live into that motto all year long!
