Centro Romero is a non-profit dedicated to providing social services to the residents of the north side of Chicago. Founded in 1984 by Salvadoran refugees, Centro Romero provides services like adult education, legal services, youth programs, and family services to often low-income immigrant and refugee families. We offer a variety of programs such as GED classes, domestic abuse counseling, and community education seminars. Last year, we were able to serve over 25,000 members of the community with these crucial services.
