Chautauqua County Rural Ministry began in the 1950's, starting out as a migrant ministry.  Over the years, we have evolved into providing 15 programs, including a soup kitchen, emergency food pantry, thrift store, food recovery program, gleaning project, seed starting and community gardens to name a few.

We are headquartered in the City of Dunkirk but many of our programs are county wide.  Our soup kitchen serves over 40,000 meals annually and the emergency food pantry distributes over 100,000 meal packages.
