During the year we use the money raised to support needy Veterans and their families in and around Grand Island. Money has supported the “Van for Vets” Program, Veterans Court program, Dog Tags WNY (support dogs for veterans) Gas cards for the Vet Center’s vets to make appointments, we provide holiday meals for veterans, food pantries, Backpacks for school children of WNY and various Veterans Hospital Volunteer needed support and programs. We continually support many community, State and National programs such as scholarships to graduating seniors, Patriot’s Pen, Voice of Democracy, New York State home for veterans and their families, the National Children’s Home of veterans and the Neighbors Foundation.
