The mission statement of the Charlton City United Methodist Church is to be a family of believers, lovingly sharing God's Holy Word throughout the community. We accomplish this through many diverse ministries including:

Food Pantry - We operate the Food Pantry a ministry of where we hope to show the love of Jesus in a measurable way, located inside the main builing as well as our thrift shop annex.

Twice Blessed Thrift Shop - Open two days a week offering clothing, housewares, books, linens, and essentials at affordable prices.

Worcester Fellowship - Collaborate with the Worcester Fellowship team to feed the homeless in Worcester.

YABS - Young Adult Bible Study is a time of reflection, discussion, prayer, and learning through the Bible and the word of God. Guided by Charlton's City UMC's Pastor John, young adults from age 17 to 35 get together every Thursday to share joys, understandings, and doubts about the Bible, and being a Christian in the world.

United Women in Faith - UWF shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive
fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. We often fundraise for Abby's House in Worcester and Zoe Empowers (global women & children organization).

Men's Fellowship - This is a group of men of all ages gathering together during the months of September, October, November, March, April, and May, to prepare and serve delicious dinners for our church and the community.

Vacation Bible School - At the end of July we have a themed Vacation Bible week which includes a meal. There is music, crafts, storytelling and outside activities. This event is open to all in the community. The theme this year was “To Mars and Beyond.”

Apple Pie Fundraiser - Every October we assemble to prepare, bake, and sell hundreds of handmade apple pies. Funds help offset the church building costs, with a special tithe going to support local heat and fuel assistance.

Winter Cookies & Craft Fair - Every first Saturday of December, CCUMC puts on a fantastic fundraiser to kick off the holiday season. This is a church-wide event and offers baked goods, holiday decorations, handmade crafts, a delicious luncheon, and a silent auction. Funds help offset the church building costs, with a special tithe going to support local heat and fuel assistance.

Prayer Ministry - Each Sunday before worship, our prayer ministry team meets to pray over the requests received over the course of the week. These requests have been sumbitted to our community-wide prayer boxes, all of which are found in local Charlton businesses.
