The Chavez School PTO works to develop a closer relationship between families and the school, so that parents and teachers may cooperatively educate children. We promote social connections in our community by hosting events such as a Fall Dance and Spring Fun Fair. We supplement and assist in the academic, personal and social education of children. We provide funding and support to Chavez staff over and above school district funding for programs beneficial to Chavez students. We develop and foster an effective working relationship and channel of communication with the community at large (business, civic and residential) in order to obtain support and assistance for Chavez students and programs.
