The Chicago Police Foundation is a registered non-profit 501(c)3 which servers to provide material aide to the officers of the Chicago Police Department, who are vastly underfunded by the city. We were founded in 2015 and have spearheaded efforts to supply necessary equipment, provide advanced training, and initiate community outreach programs for the servicemen active on the force. Some of our flagship achievements have been providing a tactical command van for the 18th district, purchasing Kawasaki motorcycles for the Chicago Beach Patrol, supplying the Mounted Unit with brand new horse saddles (the old saddles were so worn that they were hurting the horses), and equipping over 2,000 life-saving LEMART kits to the new graduates of the police academy.
