This year CWSCS celebrates its 50th year on Chicago’s west side.
On March 19, 2020 we will hold a Celebration at the Carlisle in Lombard, Illinois and anticipate over 400 guests! This Celebration will include our Annual Scholarship Benefit fundraiser and silent auction to raise scholarship funds so our students can receive a high quality, affordable education. Because 51% of households in the North Lawndale neighborhood have a household income of $25,000 or less, the need for scholarship assistance is great.
Our school has served the west side neighborhoods of Chicago for 50 years, providing quality education to pre-kindergarten through 8th grade students. This year, 173 students are benefitting from a CWSCS education.
Can you help us out with a donation of a product or service from your business? It will assist students with scholarship assistance? All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. If we are chosen, we would need the donation mailed to the following address by February 1, 2020.
