The mission of the Children's Advocacy Center of Central Texas is to provide comprehensive services that promote hope, healing, and justice for abused and neglected children.  The Children's Advocacy Center of Central Texas (CACCT) serves children ages 0-17 and adults with limited capacity in Bell, Coryell, and Milam Counties. The center provides a safe and comfortable environment where alleged child abuse victims and their families come for collaborative investigative services. Law enforcement and ChildProtective Services (CPS) refer all cases to the CACCT that meet the following criteria: sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, high risk for abuse, witness to violent crime, and domestic minor sex trafficking. Trained forensic interviewers work with law enforcement, CPS, and prosecution personnel to provide quality forensic interviews toassist in the investigative process. At least monthly, our team meets with a multidisciplinary team (MDT) thatincludes law enforcement, CPS, medical and mental health professionals, and prosecutors to continue coordinating the cases to achieve a positive outcome for both the children and the agencies investigating theabuse. In addition, we provide family advocacy, counseling, and coordinate pediatric sexual assault and forensic exams with McLane's Children's Hospital. Our mission statement
