Children’s Minnesota’s signature event, Star Gala brings together community leaders, corporations, professionals in the medical community, and families to raise more than $2 million annually. Proceeds from this year’s gala will support our Cancer and Blood Disorders program. Children’s Minnesota has the largest Cancer and Blood Disorders program in the Upper Midwest. We care for more than 3,500 patients from infants to young adults each year, including more than 80 percent of Minnesota children with sickle cell disease or hemoglobinopathies and other hemophilia diagnoses.
