At the Children's Therapy Center, we often see families at their worst; when they have just learned that their child has a life-altering or life-threatening condition. Medical professionals often focus on the child's expected limitiations. We focus on what the child can do and encourage parents to see that with appropriate therapy and consistent effort, there is hope for a brighter future! We've been providing this life-changing therapy to kids with disabilities and delays throughout eastern Iowa and western Illinois for 75 years -- regardless of a family's ability to pay for needed services! With over two hundred kids on our waiting list, our services ar needed now more than ever! Curretly, over 75% of the services provided are not reimbursed, so fundraising is really important! We're proud to partner with Children's Hospital of Illinois and the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital to help these kids achieve their highest level of independence!
