Our mission is to engage children in a joyful learn through play enviroment and to inspire educational curiosity while honoring the heritage of our volunteer firefighters. Tom Martin had a dream for the Paso Robles community, and after the firefighters moved to a new location, Tom decided the old firehouse would be the perfect place. In 2003 the Paso Robles Childrens Museum was established as a public charity and the planning began. The museum opened it's doors in November of 2007 and 16 years later the museum has welcomed well over 200,000 guests. The childrens museum provides a safe enviroment where learners of all abilities can do so at their own pace and focus on topics that interest them. With fewer and fewer places in our community that provide this independ play experience, we understand th important roll of the childrens museum. The museum hosts free spectrum nights, we had 1,792 children visit under our free school field trip program pre pandemic, free admission to over 25 child based organizations, museums for all members and so much more.
