The Christ Child Society of Dallas-Fort Worth - a chapter of the National Christ Child Society - a) assembles and distributes layettes to disenfranchised new moms; b) stages various literacy projects at both Central Elementary and Mill Street Elementary in LISD, poulated primarily by ESL children of working poor families; and c) provides Foster Care Comfort Bags and Snack Bags to the local Medicaid pediatric clinic, PediPlace in Lewisville.
We are an established 501c3, Tax ID 83-0854128. Founded in 1887, the National Christ Child Society has forty-seven (47) Chapters throughout the United States and has 3 objectives: build literacy; empower families and their children; and meet basic needs.
