Christ the King Cathedral School is a Catholic school where students can grow as unique individuals towards spiritual maturity.  Catholic education is a vital part of the parish and Diocese.  In addition, we seek to prepare future leaders to share their faith through service to family and community.

Christ the King Cathedral School is committed to providing strong academic and development programs. As a result, our children are guided along the path to achieving their full potential.The children are empowered to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world. Our staff works to be faith-filled, dedicated, and knowledgeable in their professions. Furthermore, we strive to meet the individual needs of the children. With this in mind, CtK is sensitive to family issues and encourages parents to fulfill their role as the first educator of their child.

Christ the King School was established in 1957. When the Diocese of Lubbock was formed from the Diocese of Amarillo in 1983. Christ the King Parish became the cathedral parish, at that time the name was changed to Christ the King Cathedral School. Currently the school operates off fully accredited curriculum ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade in their educational journey students are encouraged to grow as unique individuals in the spirit of Jesus Christ towards spiritual maturity. Our knowledgeable faith filled staff are committed to providing strong academic and development programs which enable children to achieve their full potential and meet the new challenges of an every changing world. We welcome all faiths and strive to meet the individual needs of each student.
