Our organization has been servicing in lower income neighborhoods such as South Dallas, Oak Cliff, Pleasant Grove, East and West Dallas. We provide programs for teens and young adults wo have witnessed negative family and environmental situations. They may have PTSD from the death or impriosonment of a parent. They may have social and behavorial issues.

With our self expression program, Sankofa Players Youth Acting group< they youth learn how to channel their emotions in a positve way.

With our scholarship program the graduating teens can use their new tools in college and in the workforce.

Our annual community event ,"The Harambee Festival" provides the families with free health screenings, family advocacy, and many social services that are needed on top of a day full of free entertainment, free treat bags with games and arts&crafts.
