These last two years have been challenging for everyone. Parents, like myself, are trying to juggle working, and the stresses of the pandemic, raising kids, all while supporting our amazing and hard-working teachers and schools. In these difficult times, we want to thank businesses like yours for taking the time to consider supporting Citizens of the World Charter School Hollywood (CWC) through an in-kind donation to our Spring Auction. As a school community, we recognize all businesses are vital and enticing to our community and we recognize how vital it is to support those businesses and brands that support our school.
CWC is a high quality TK-5 charter school located in Hollywood. Since our founding in 2010, our mission has been to provide a socio-economically, culturally and racially diverse community of students in the heart of Hollywood with an intellectually challenging, experiential learning environment that develops each individual student’s confidence, potential, and individual responsibility as citizens of the world in which we live. In order to keep providing the community with an option for the outstanding free public education that all children deserve, we need help from businesses like yours.
It costs an additional $2,400 per student to allow us to have:
• Lower class size of 22-24 vs LAUSD at 33
• Teaching Assistant in early grades
• Art, Music, Physical Education programs and a Social and Emotional Learning Curriculum
