We are a non-profit in the mid-MO area serving refugee families and walking beside them as they navigate the complexities of life in the USA.  Once they have been settled in our area they often need help with SNAP food stamp applications, online school registration, medical care, Medicaid applications, employment applications and other things.  We also have a robust youth outreach that offers the refugee children help with homework, free music lessons, summer soccer camp, teen activities; we hope to add a preschool for our refugee children in the fall of 2023. 

Our goal is to mentor and encourage them as they learn how to navigate.  We then encourage them to mentor other refugees in the process.

We have more than 300 refugees from Afghanistan and are now seeing an influx of refugees from the Ukraine.  We also have refugees from Burma, Eritrea, Congo, Iraq, and various other war torn countries across the globe.
