City Rescue Mission (CRM) is on the front line of helping some of the most vulnerable citizens of Duval County, individuals who suffer from extreme proverty and homelessness. City Rescue Mission, Inc is a 501(c)(3) corporation that provides food, clothing, shelter, emergengy services and residential recovery programs to homeless men, women, and women with children. These services are offered from two locations, one in the heart of Jacksonville Fl. and the other in the Lackawanna neighborhood. CRM is the largest emergency overnight shelter service provider in Northeast Florida with over 300 beds. Holistic ancillary services include Workforce Development, LifeSkills, Medical and Dental Clinics, Transitional Housing, and spiritual care. City Rescue Mission does not accept goverment funding; Financial support of the Mission comes from donations made generously by concerned individuals, churches, businesses, civic organiztions, and foundations. City Rescue Mission has served over 280,00 meals and 73,000 nights of shelter this past year. All services are at no cost to the program participant(s). The purpose of our offered programs and services are to ensure that urgent needs are met, and to return families and program participants back into the community as healed, hopeful, and productive.
