CitySquare fights the causes and effects of poverty through service, advocacy, and friendship. Working hand in hand with our neighbors, CitySquare develops sustainable partnerships that provide support and encouragement so all can achieve their full potential. Last year more       than 59,000 of our Dallas neighbors were impacted by CitySquare. Our innovative and neighbor-centered approach wholly addresses an individual’s or family’s complicated situation, as opposed to providing one single, disconnected service at a time. CitySquare helps neighbors navigate access to all services they need to help change the trajectory of their lives. We focus on six areas of service:  

1)      Homeless and Housing Solutions: Every neighbor obtains and maintains permanent and affordable housing

2)      Food Access: Every neighbor has accessible, affordable, and healthy food

3)      Financial Empowerment: Every neighbor is work ready and financially stable

4)      Health Equity: Every neighbor is connected to a healthcare provider and social supports

5)      Legal Services: Every neighbor has access to legal representation to advance social and economic justice 

6)      Foster Youth Services: Every youth are prepared to successfully transition to adulthood and self-sufficiency
