Classic Auto Rides (CARS) is a car club based out of Buford, Ga. Our membership is primarily geared to the classic car enthusiast. However, we want to have a diverse group and welcome everyone; those with newer vehicles or those who are just looking for membership and want to be a part of helping support our community. To build our membership, we want our member fee to be affordable at $50.00 per year for an individual or married couple. Our main goal and objective is to raise money to be donated to local verified charities; and individual special circumstances, such as the donation on behalf of the four young Garcia children who lost both parents within a week, one due to covid and one to a house fire. For this year in 2022, we our monthly cruise-ins will be held at Buford High School. Cruise-ins will begin in April and continue through September on the 1st Saturday of each month; and our annual Cruisin’ For A Cause show will be held September 24, 2022 again at the new Buford High School. Events will feature awards for registered show cars, raffle giveaways, food, activities for kids, and great music. Once again, Rick Hendrick Chevrolet & Jeff Taylor Performance have generously offered to donate a motor for our annual show in September. We already have many wonderful sponsors & members who helped make 2021 a great success. With their help and support, we donated over $60,000.00 to several organizations in need throughout our community. As we begin the 2022 year, we have set a goal of $100,000.00 and certainly will need the help of our current sponsors & members along with obtaining new corporations and individuals to reach our goal. We have established our club as a business with an LLC filing with the State of GA, EIN Federal ID, Tax Exempt 501(C)3 for Non-Profit status, and we are insured for events. Our Board of Directors and Officers are all experienced and work together with a common goal of operating a car club established as a charity organization based on professionalism, integrity, and honesty.
