The mission of the Coachella Vallley Volunteers in Medicine (CVVIM) is to provide free health care services to low-income persons who have no health insurance or who are underinsured.
Coachella Valley Volunteers in Medicine (CVVIM) is hosting its fourth annual VIMY Awards & WineLover’s Auction at historic Thunderbird Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California, on Saturday, March 21, 2020. This exciting evening begins with a spectacular wine and hors d’oeuvres reception, silent and live auctions featuring fine wines, rare finds, fun adventure, and a sumptuous three course dinner.
Proceeds from this annual fundraiser support the CVVIM to be the ONLY no charge clinic in the Coachella Valley founded to provide quality medical and dental services to our under-served and uninsured neighbors. CVVIM has served more than 30,000 individual patients since opening in 2010, and on average, VIM volunteers provide 3,500 face-to-face visits each year to 1,000 individual patients. 1,500 additional contacts are provided for diabetes and disease education, homeless outreach, health navigator services and community/social service referrals.
