The Coalition of Adoption and Foster Family Agencies, CAFFA, is a 501 (c) (3) organization with roots dating back to 1985. CAFFA is made up of county departments of social services and foster/adoption agencies in the eight counties of Western New York. CAFFA's mission is to pursue permanency for children in foster care in Western New York through the recruitment, training and support of foster/adoptive families. In addition, CAFFA provides stipends for foster children to participate in activities such as summer camp, music lessons and sports which they might otherwise be unable to.
