The Coffee County Children's Advocacy Center is a registered 501(C)(3) non-profit organization (ID: 05-0597501) that provides a safe, neutral and child-focused facility where children who have been abused can be interviewed and where the victims and their families can be provided with services they may need. All services are provided to children and the non-offending families free of charge.
Our mission is to provide prevention, education, and intervention to children who have been victims of severe abuse. Currently, we provide the following services:
- forensic interviews of child victims
- trauma-focused mental health services
- child and family advocacy services
- on-site medical exams through a partnership with Our Kids
- child abuse prevention education programs throughout the community
Since opening in 2005, over 4,600 children have been helped.
