The mission of Colin L. Powell Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (CPESPTA) is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
The primary goal of CPES PTA is to strengthen our school and community through parent and family involvement and to advocate for resources and funding to enable the academic success, health and well-being of ALL children. We do this by organizing and sponsoring several events every year. These events include school-wide assemblies, field trips, before & after school enrichment programs, a spelling bee, parent & child events, teacher appreciation week, and many more. We strive to make our school the best it can be, and work to enhance our children’s educational experience.
CPES PTA is located in Centreville, Virginia serving over 900 students (preschool through 6th grade) and 100+ faculty and staff. CPES offers the only Korean Language Immersion Program in our school district. Our families and staff reside in the Centreville, Chantilly, Fairfax, Manassas, Burke, and surrounding areas of Northern Virginia.
