The QWYC offers youth a safe and welcoming space for youth to attend after school from Tuesday to Friday. QWYC provides a drop-in setting for youth to come and go as needed. Youth who attend have the opportunity to participate in structured programming geared towards the needs of our youth member, as we are a youth-led centre and ensure all programs are based on those needs. One example is the need for LGBTQ+, mental health, physical activities, basic needs (such as laundry) and food security. Youth can gain assistance with homework, life skills, positive mentorship from staff as well as receive a healthy, nutritious meal each night.
