Mission Statement
We provide Safety, Hope, Advocacy, Respite and Education for those impacted by crisis and violence in the Fox Valley Region and Illinois.
Since 1975 Community Crisis Center, Inc., a not-for-profit social service agency located in Elgin, IL, has provided comprehensive emergency services to individuals and families dealing with the trauma of domestic/sexual violence, homelessness and other life crises. Services include a 24-hour hotline; information & referral; a 40-bed shelter for women and children; individual and group counseling; legal, medical and welfare advocacy; financial assistance; emergency food, toiletries, diapers & winter wear; partner abuse intervention program; and community education.
