We are a small non-profit 501c3 with 80 employees that provider serveral services for our rural community. We are funded by federal, state and private donations.
We have a Federally Qualified Health Center that serves low income and uninsured patients as well as those with insurance. We have a Black Lunch Clinic that helps active and retired miners to be tesed and apply for Black Lung Benefits, We have 2 Domestic Violence shelter, a free clothing closet for the community, free health educations courses, onsite mental health counseling and other programs such as the 8th Judicial District Recover Court, Generation Hope and Financial Empowerment.
The number that was listed as beneficiaries servied was clinic numbers only. We serve so many more in this community and surrounding counties with the other programs listed above.
