For 60 years, Community Workforce Solutions, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, has been helping
to build a better tomorrow for individuals with disabilities. Our programs and services include transition aged youth, individuals with brain injuries, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities seeking day program services and individuals seeking vocational services. CWS partners with the community, families, professional organizations, and others to achieve greatness through education, employment, inclusion, and independence.
This year we are hosting our annual Phoenix Fundraising event. We are seeking multiple levels of sponsorship and monetary and in-kind donations for auction items, raffle prizes, and our popular wine pull.
Some examples of programs your donation will benefit from are our Pre-Employment Transitions
Services, Brain Injury Services, Bridge Pathways, Pathways Day Program, The Culinary Program, and Community Employment & Training.
1. The Pre-Employment Transitions program (Pre-ETS) works with students with disabilities ages 14-21 to
transition them from school to employment, service or other post-secondary options in Wake and surrounding counties.
2. The Brain Injury Services department is a collaborative community for individuals with brain injuries offering three distinct programs: Gateway Clubhouse, Gateway Community Support (a program dedicated to assisting post 9/11 veterans), and Gateway to Work.
3. Bridge Pathways and Pathways Day Programs are designed to increase social skills, healthy workplace interactions, and independence.
4. Culinary Training provides an opportunity for participants to learn basic culinary skills to help them advance their careers in the food service industry.
5. Community Employment & Training offers job development assistance through job coaching, interviewing skills, and on-the-job training.

Thank you in advance for your time, consideration, and commitment to the community. Your support is
invaluable to our mission in continuing to support individuals with disabilities.
