On behalf of the Concord High School Instrumental Music Boosters (CHSIMB) and the students in the Concord High School Instrumental Music Program (CHS program), we are humbly requesting a donation from your organization. Your donation will be used either as an auction or a raffle prize in our upcoming fundraiser event, “Music Takes You Anywhere - Dinner Showcase and Auction,” taking place at Concord High School. Students from the CHS program's ensembles will be performing at the event and serving our 250+ expected guests.
The CHSIMB vision is to provide opportunities in which every student is transformed through instrumental music and inspired to become leaders in their community. Our organization provides financial support to the over 100 students in the program, making the program possible. The program’s annual budget is over $130,000, and yet the school district provides less than 1% of that budget; the rest of the funds are raised and provided by CHSIMB. We believe that music is an essential and critical part of education (now more than ever!) and CHSIMB is committed to filling the gap to ensure the CHS program can continue.
We hope that you will consider offering a donation to support our efforts to keep the instrumental music program thriving at Concord High School. We wouldn’t be able to achieve the impact we strive for without your help.
