The Connecticut Foundation for Dental Outreach believes that everyone deserves dental care. The Foundation, through its Connecticut Mission of Mercy Free Dental Clinic (CTMOM), provides the underserved and uninsured with free dental care so no one will suffer needlessly from mouth pain, complications from lack of care, or be embarrassed about their smile. Since 2008, our clinics have provided 22,269 underserved patients with free dental services and oral education valued at $14.7 million. Our two-day, 80-chair, temporary dental clinic is staffed by over 800 dedicated medical, dental, and community volunteers who work together to provide optimal dental services in a controlled and comfortable environment. CTMOM is located in a different location each year and many return year after year as we are considered to be their dental home. This year, we will be hosting our event in Waterbury at Wilby High School on November 9-10 where we intend to treat 1400 vulnerable individuals with free dental services valued at over $1 million.
